I am assuming late model and 106 being overbored 103" and I would say the 54

KingofCubes

I would want to know what compression and if head work was done before deciding.

I am in the process of doing a 106 myself (using S&S BB 106 kit for 07 and up).

I am having Big Boyz breath on the heads slightly.

The interesting thing to note here is:   Don (Deweysheads), a fine headporter agrees with MY head porter (Bean [SUPER head porter, HAHA!!!~]) and both think the 54s would be a great choice...  time will tell, but I agree pretty strongly right now myself, the later intake close (42)should make it an easy starting bike; CCP in the mid 190s;  the bump in compression and size should keep a bit of torque down low; and at 3k cruising rpm...  WOW!

My top end will be the ONLY thing that I will ever have to worry about on this bike from now on, too.   Randy (Hyperformance) and R&R are building me a crank and bottom end that can withstand any and all abuse-- up to and including Nuclear!!

My bike is totally apart right now getting this build done...  I am PUMPED!!!
Oh No!

I've not used a Andrews 54 but other items can have a huge affect on what you are building. I have used the 585 in a 103 with stock valve sizes and it pulls really hard. Increase the valve size & do port work and your pulling range just raised to now become a mid to high RPM puller. It may also depend on your riding style the weight of bike and rider-s.
