What else do you have in this monster?  This is very close to what I want.  Flat tq curve over 100 from idle to red line.  HP is unimportant.

Gene - here are the details and dyno chart on this build. BTW, this was built by Hardy Heads using parts purchased from Herko and Chicago Harley.  All together I spent about $2,300 parts and labor for this build. This of course did not include the TTS tuning device and the cost of the tune, which added another $850.

Thanks for all the info.
If the difference is couple $$ then i will have the heads done and forget the springs.  The million dollar question is there any good builders in the northern Chicago land area that you guys know of.  I live in Lake county IL.  So even South of Milwaukee would work also.

Thanks

I am sure there others but two that come to mind are Larry's Motorcycle & Machine, and Valley Racing. IMO, with either or a combonation of both, you can't go wrong.

Both are on the south side.
Well worth the distance.
Considering a power upgrade?
First and foremost, focus on your tuning plan.

FWIW, and I'll try not to get to technical, seeing I'm not technical :wtf:.
I have a 2004 EG Standard. HQ0034 cams, 06 stock heads, 95" w/KB
pistons 9.5:1, .030 hd. gasket, carb., true duals w/Bassani slip-ons.
No dyno, no numbers but seat of the pants says "hell yea". I measure
tq. by how much my ass slides in the seat so I'd say bout 95 ft. lbs.
Pulls well from take off up through 4500, don't shift much past 4000
so can't say about higher rpm's, don't much care. If you can stand a noisy
cam :pop:, not a bad build. If I remember right whole build under 2k, with
the dealer setting the jugs and heads. Oh yeh, pulls 2 up and the trailer
well. Now I'm wonderin what a 103 would feel like, my ass says over 100 ft. lbs. :hyst:
