 There's two or thee clear,,and two extra dark face sheilds With scratch'es-so there wast'in away,  Reason I started this re-search again,is ,,,yea,,my new dark shelid is fu.....scratched.....So while try'in to find a place on the net,,,to save a buck,,,,Found that use'ing a HEAT GUN will take out most all except the deeper ones,,and those will get better.....they use an oven for 24hrs to DRY it out (or you WILL get bubbles they say)  Then a 1500 heat gun...1 to 2" away move'in the gun in circles ,,,,,don't over heat.....Oh ya....they cool the shield for an hr or two till it'ts cool to the touch "after the oven"...step
Found this a Mine removeal forum     I"ll go back n find it....

For light scratches try toothpaste. Very fine abrasive and won't cause additional scratching. Worked for me on a shield with lots of hazy little scratches.

Well these guys remove mines ,,,,,and dthey got quarter inch plexiglass,,,and they got pictures...and I think they've got great research here.....on how to do it best.....I will try to get the ol'lady to let me have four or five shields in the oven for twenty-four hours....what at 250.is what they say ..to "dry out the glass.

I think m/c faceshields are too thin to remove the scratches using oven/heat gun method.
