Anyone hip to the HOGTUNES TWEETER POD & 902.2-AA SPEAKER & AMP KIT COMBO?
Seems like a pretty cool upgrade to me, but it is a little pricey too, like $4 hundred, and some change.
Anyone know if about the installation of something like this?

I have the speakers and amp, but not the tweeter pod.  Love my system and I've heard nothing but praise from guys who've added the tweeter pod.  And the customer service from Pez is top shelf.

I have speakers and amp on my 04.  I listened to the tweeter pod set up in Sturgis and while everyone else said they thought it made a difference I really could not detect much difference with the tweeter added.

The Tweeter Pod installs very easily: drill 4 holes using the supplied template (2 for the speaker wires and 2 for the mounting screws), route the wires, install the 2 screws, and attach the wires.

The sound, IMHO, is very noticable and greatly improves the high end of the sound spectrum.

Just my .02, hope it helps.
My pride is cheap, my Harley is not.

I upgraded my speakers to HOG Tunes many years ago.  The sound and the price are superior.   My factory stereo pumps out 40 watts per channel so I can't understand the need for an amp?  As far s bikes go, can't imagine better sound, and face no bike stereo sounds like a home or car system.  So what does an amp bring to the table?  I just don't get  it.  Dont get me wrong, I have an Alpine sound system in the SU and a Bose surround sound system in the shop. I trully enjoy my music (ask my neighbors) but a bike sound system will never match up to anything else.

Just my opinion, with that and $.50 you can get a cup of coffee too. :teeth:

Before I knew of Pez & his affiliation here on HTT I purchased a set of Infinity speakers for my 2005 EGC to replace to stockers, they have been in now for about 5 years & I play em loud, very pleased with them.

Many happy HTT campers here running the HogTunes audio equipment...& I will join them if the need to change out what I have ever is needed.

dunno why you just wouldn't get a good set of tweeters and mount them in the faring, just two holes, drill, mount and wire into the system

Probably could take them to a pro stereo shop, the Tweeter thing looks good though.

Bet you could DIY for well under $4 bills.

In my case, the amp powers the speakers in the lower fairings.
