As my title says, I want to replace the original rear turn signals and install some after market TAILLIGHT PAIR, with RUN/BRAKE &TURN SIGNAL.
Does anyone know or heard of such? I know HD and others make an aftermarket kit with Diodes to convert it.
Is out there possibly an LED system?
Any one?

If you are capable of reading wiring diagrams and are fairly handy you could replace the sockets in your existing TS with dual filament sockets, bulbs, and the necessary wiring changes to facilitate that function. Why do you not want to use the kits?

I heard the kits have problems and i will have no room as bike has 240 PM tire, wide fender, PM struts and gunfighter seat...so no room under the seat.
In fact I don't even know how an HD conversion kit works...pardon my ignorance.

Okay. There are a few who have had problems, most work with no problems, IME.

The kits usually are a small plug in module that uses steering diodes and some other wizardry to allow a single filament bulb to do the function of a dual filament bulb They also contain a "load equalizer" so that the turn signal flash rate stays at the correct rate. Most are fairly small and are "plug and play".

As I said, one could change the sockets and wiring to use dual filament bulbs. Some type of load equalizer might still be required for proper turn signal operation.

If you don't have the room for the kit solution, then wiring them up for dual filament bulbs may be your only other option ... still have to find a place for the load equalizer if needed.

I've often thought about this. I had the HD module that made the turn signals act as brake lights and it lasted a good amount of miles before it quit on the road.

Simple enough to get front housings and run dual filaments for run/turnsignals. But I can't imagine how to hook the wire from the brake light to the two turn signal filaments and still keep the two turn signals and brake light independent from each other.

How does an old car do it. Dual filament bulb, one filament for the running lights, the other-brighter filament does the turn and brake lights. Now here's the rub, both left and right bright filaments are separated from any left or right signal, but are connected into one brake signal.

Now before the introduction of any kind of electronic gizmo or module, there must of been some kind of separator.

Like the Panecea from Kuryakyn?

You can run it without the turn signal bar and leds on the bar.  Just the taillight

Basically, a wired OR or XOR (boolean logic) function at the turn signal flasher. What happens on most cars with the TS or 4 ways on and you step on the brakes? The modules perform the function of the wiring and TS flashers on cars and trucks.

I'm using one of these purely as a brake light supplement.  It's very bright.  I had a trooper comment that it looked good.  The stop/tail/turn would proably work out well too.

gotta watch any LEDs in the system cause they tend to create problems with the turn signal and security module in some cases even with a "load equalizer" in the circuit....probably a good area to stick with the HD solutions
