Just found out last night that my local Dealer- California Harley Davidson will become the first Harley Davison and  Indian dealer in Jan( at least in calif) It will also be the only Indian dealer in the Los Angeles Southern Calif Area. Sounds like a good business decision if you ask me.

In Phoenix, Chester HD is also an Indian Motorcycle distributor.

They have a stand alone building right just across the entry way to the Harley Dealership. Nice building, good inventory of Indian Bikes and Apparel, expensive. It will be interesting how they do in tis economy.

I remember seeing that Indian was going to make about 500 units a year, did anyone else see that?
If each dealer gets 100 units a year, how are they going to pay their mechanics that will have nothing to do?
Listen to the jingle the rumble and the roar.

This is why the Harley/Indian combo makes sense.  The Harley dealer already had mechanics who will also be able to service the Indians.  At Chester's H-D in Mesa they share the same service department.

Ive been saying that for a long time. The old Harley/Indian feud is long since past. Time to start taking the initiative to help out each other.
