Time to reconfigure my 107 ?

Well while the jury's out on my crank I'm thinking maybe its time to remove some of this expensive bark I seem to have . 02 107" 140 dome J&E pistons 87 cc heads I'm some where around 11:2-11:5-1 and this is a dresser and my $$ and patience for motor crank r&r is beyond short these days perhaps its time to french out and detune .. jeez i can't believe I said it but I did ! I could use a fresh re-bore but whatever new flat tops or mill mine it looks like I would be sitting around 10:4-1 and I have a new crane 296-2 that may work nice ? Perhaps it time to get the CD radio working and crap might even go back to some good old duals again. If I stay away from these .650 + cams I could shed these jackhammer valve springs for something in the longer  life program as well. Love to hear your idea's while I'm in the waiting room Ha !
