Just bought Moble1 20W50 V Twin sinthetic motorcycle oil at WallMart for $5.00 per qt.
Was marked on the shelf @$8.88,. But it rang up @ $5.00. Don't know if it was a special or if it was entered wrong in their computer. Might check it out if you run it.

Can't find the M1 at Wal-mart in 20w50, only 15w50 and I paid $26.00 for the 5 Qt. jug.  Just bought it last night, again.
With the state tax it comes out to be $5.51 per Qt.
Everyone wants to change the world but, no one wants to change the toilet paper.

  I went to Wal-Mart and it was 8 bucks a quart.

you need to drive just a little further west before you buy next time then.     I just bought a couple of 5 qt jugs of regular 15w50 M1 synth recently at my local Wal-mart for $19 something per...had the "new lower price" tag on the shelf.

Walmart has the ability to adjust pricing at the store level. This is to give the individual stores the ability to meet competition. It is not unusual to see the same product priced differently from store to store. The OP's store probably has another local auto parts store selling M1 at that price, so they adjusted. Remember: Everyday Low Price.

If it were me, I would rather purchase from the retailer that priced it low first.

I wouldn't shop at wall mart if they gave it away.

Thnx for the re-stock reminder gents! Our local Auto Zone has been pretty good about stocking lately

(even if I did fork over $9.44 per quart for Mob1 - 20/50 V-twin) - Gracie's set for another 20,000 miles of oil changes.

I'm nearly the same way.  Very seldom do I darken their doors anymore.  Most of their stores are dirty, just nasty.  Employees aren't any better.  Got tired of being treated like cattle.  Always had to wait in a long line.  Clerks could barely speak understandable english - most spoke eubonics.  Got tired of it and said no more.    I'll pay a few cents more and shop at Target.  Stores are clean, well lit, well maintained, and for the most part the employees are neat, friendly, and speak understandably.   Just a much better experience in my opinion.
