Windshield cut down

Best way to cut 2 in. off curved windshield ?  Run thru bandsaw or just tape /  use jig saw while still on bike?  Thnks

I used a "diamond" tipped jigsaw blade - one without teeth.  Taped the area to be cut, and just sliced thru.  Then filed it smooth and hit it with some fine sandpaper, then LIGHTLY rubbed the edge with some MEK to make it even smoother.  Piece of cake.  I had thought about "flaming" the edge, as I've seen our carpenters at work do, but was warned not to do that with Lexan.
