Where can I buy a complete top end gasket set with .030 cometic head gaskets to do a top end job? The top end kit that Harley sells, don't come with a .030" HD gasket does it??? Do most guys use the HD kit then scrape their Head Gasket and buy another?

Look at the Cyco brand also...good prices and they use a multi layered steel HG...you can order a kit w/ .030  HG.....Headcase

Look on ebay for Reliant Gasket. I haved used them and you can get your choice of .030 or .040 head gaskets (multi layer steel) in their top-end or complete sets. Top-end sets run $59.95 and complete sets run $69.95. Shipping is $10.00. I call and order on the phone because they have many gaskets that aren't on ebay. I have not had any problems and would recommend them.

Jireh has Cometic.. their number is 77-448 for a top set and it's 64.99.. I got a set of reliants from panheadred, used them on the bagger. They worked fine. The only thing I found was that the HG needed up at about 0.035 though it said 0.030 on the baggie..

to further add on to what Max posted..
77-448 is for 3.75" bore (88" and 96")
77-449 is for 3.875" bore (95" and 103")

here's a pic of whats in the 77-449 kit:

I bought the Cyco set from AMS in Ft Worth for my last project and they are good gaskets.
