I'm in the market for a 2003 thru about 2006ish Low Rider. It appears the SuperGlides have more clearance between the rear fender and tire, thus it probably has taller shocks which increases travel and raises the rear up a bit. I'd want to do this I think with the Low Rider as well as I know HD cut the suspension down to lower the ride height. Can anybody confirm that the SG rear shocks has a longer eye to eye length, and since the LR and SG are the same frame, is there any reason a guy couldn't use these taller shocks on the Low Rider?
Thanks

Well..yes the LR shocks are shorter. Plus the front end is lower! Sure you can change the shocks but I don't know how it will handle. I know plenty that have put the shorter on the SG without problems. Don't see many going the other way?

The 02-05 FXDL's had 4 degrees more rake than the FXD's too. I believe the 06's and up were the same.
