Do kevlar pads have bronze or brass fibers in them? I just got a set and they feel like they would tear up my nice new polished ss rotors. Is the stainless hard enough to take the brass without scratching all up? In the past I used Lindall pads on my other bike and they were great but these rotors came with these pads and the guy claims they work. I don't remember the Lindall pads being full of metel and rough to the touch. Do I run em or not?

U might want to use organic compound on chrome or polished rotors they are easy on the finish but IMO dont stop u as well...dont really know about the kevlar pads but if they have metal in them I would think they would not be easy on the finish

Kevlar pads are available in different compositions.  Sounds like you're trying to avoid dust, wear and tear to the rotor. I've had excellent luck, (No plug intended), with the LB Racing gold pads on my Softail. Someone on here recommended them to me.  I'm running Weld Recluse rotors, ($275 ea. when I bought them), so I wanted something that wouldn't beat'em up or put brake dust on my wheels.  So far, so good with no compromise to stopping capability.  They're a little pricey compared to some other Mfgrs. but you get what you pay for.  When these wear out I'll replace'em with LBR pads.  Sorta stick with a good thing.

I swear kevlars ate my rotors (stock H-D) and they were very dirty.
Listen to the jingle the rumble and the roar.

The ones I've got are from v-twin and I'm a bit suspect on their rotor friendliness  what with all those sharp little wires imbedded in them.
