At least that's news in my neck of the woods. It's a new deal the MoCo is offering, dealers can opt out.

My local dealer is offering up to $1000 worth of parts or accessories plus free installation with the purchase of any bike on the floor, New or used as well.

Nothing new. Some dealers have been doing this for years. I would suspect that's a dealer option not something from HD headquarters.

We have always been taking other brands in trade. We even take trucks & cars as well.  My silverado and corvette  were both trade ins.

the dealer i frequent has always taken in other brands as well as cars/trucks/boats/ect. and there's always used Hondas/Kaws/Yams/Suz sitting around in a group. he doesn't give diddley squat for them but will take them in on trade and usually winds up selling them to the Jap dealer on the other side of the hi-way.
