If they add any new models for the mid year, when would they generally be announced?

Anthony

Around the 25th of this month at The Winter Dealer Meeting. Anthony

Thanks, I'll be watching the boards. But then I'm not as interested as I once was. I went and bought a 2010 Ultra Classic. So it won't matter what they come out with. I do like this bike, now I still have to fix my oil puking on my 2001 Ultra. - but I can take my time.

Are there still rumors of an Ultra RoadGlide?

Dennis The Menace

hdxbones, yes, my dealer has said mid-year intro of the FLTRU since July.  I dont know if its true or not, we will see.

With things the way they are at HD (lay off's) and it being January already I doubt we will see much if anything. Production for the new Model Year (2011) starts in late June, early July so there is not much sense  rushing something new out this year. You never know with HD.
The Best you know, is the Best you've had........ not necessarily the Best.

One of the other forums mentioned an all black CVO Ultra and the story goes that the MOCO had them remove any and all references to it.  Something about copy rights.  We'll soon know. DCC

Talking to my sister in-law who lives in Wisconsin and she was talking to a neighbor who used to be married to a fellow who had a brother or maybe a brother in-law that was a the friend of a person that actually worked for the harley company and pretty sure we are going to be seeing a h2o cooled bagger.....and some other paint colors.

Hey, Jeffd, I am glad to see there is finally some concrete verification for the water cooled Harley.  This site rocks because  you can get the straight info with none of that vague rumor mongering that goes on elsewhere!

mokeypoole

We all should know a water cooled bagger is coming soon.  Have any of you seen the Vrod made up to be a bagger?  Don't know when it will debut but I'd say for sure its on the way.

Water-cooled Touring bikes need to be price competitive with the Goldwings. They cannot be up in the CVO price range for a basic workhorse bike. Harley has yet to figure this out. They came up with a solution when they designed the 2009 touring exhaust and put the catalyst in it for 2010. They now can stay air-cooled for a number of years. Not sure how many.
