Hello,

Read the manuals(s) for my 1998 RK evo, it says to torque the primary cover bolts to:

Primary chain inspection cover torque 84-108 in-lbs

But all the torque wrenches I've seen are ft lbs?

What am am I missing?

In advance, thanks . ..

Inch-lb wrenchs should be available anywhere. I use a Craftsman in-lb wrench, about 80 bucks. It basically clicks when you reach the desired setting. FWIW, you can convert in-lbs to foot-lbs by dividing by 12. (in your case approx 9 ft-lbs). Better to use an in-lb wrench for the low torques...more accurate. Most of the stuff I regularly do uses the in-lb wrench.

One foot-pound is 12 inch-pounds.

YEah, Don't be cranking those puppies down to 108 Foot pounds or you'll be replacing the inner primary with a bunch of stripped out or broken bolts. Get a good inch pound torque wrench. Don't get one of those POS Harbour Freight made in China pieces of junk either or you may as well just not use a torque wench. Craftsman is ok. Mac is good, Blue Point is good, Snap On is the best, IHMO but for the weekend warrior the Craftsman is just fine. IF you watch their sales you can sometimes pick up a two pack with a 1/4" drive inch pound and a 3/8" drive foot pound that will go up to around 120-150 foot pound. Spidey.
