Riders:

I have a worn out set of Supetrapp slip ons on a 1990 evo dresser.
Looking to replace these.
What feedback can you give me on my choice of replacement slip-ons?
Bike has true dual setup, CV carb unknown jetting, K & N air filter.
Will I have to readjust the carb or can I bolt on and go?
TIA for all ideas. Right now I have the tapered end caps, new pipes would be Cycle Shack slip ons "slash down style."
How does that look compliment or detract on the FLHS style of bike?
Would I notice any performance gains, as I often read "Cycle Shacks are a "best bang for the buck option?"

Cycle shacks worked great on my 90 fxstc (80") with cv carb.  I followed Joe Minton's modifications and advise for the cv.  Ran a 42 low speed jet.  It made 83 hp max, but it made 80 lb-ft or better over almost 3,000 rpm band.  Can't comment on how they'll look on your dresser, that's a subjective thing.

What Cam / other mods were you running to see suck a nice flat TQ curve you describe?

Now your engine seems pretty close to mine with the exception of mine being in an  FXR. Just picked up two sets of Cycle Shack PHD-123TO's for the old gal. From what I've heard they should be better than the current Samson FX-109's. We'll fix that air bleed install them new exhausts and then see what we've got

you won't really know until you ride the exhaust makes a big difference you may be fine but you have to ride to see, been lucky changed pipes twice and its still fine.
