Some freinds and I are going on a pretty good ride over Tn. this spring and thought about the wifes comfort on those flat to far back floor  boards, was wondering if anyone has some suggestions to where and what could be done for comfort without spending a arm & a leg which I ain't got by any means  :smileo:, looked a kury but was not sure how much those things would be, all help and suggestions will be appericated.

I've got the Kury adjustable pegs that rotate up from behind the passenger floorboards.  My wife likes them.  One thing to keep in mind is that you can't rotate them up or back if you have rear crash bar water bottle or storage bags in place.  And when they are in the up position they will hit you in the back of the knees when you're backing the bike up.

Not sure how these might compare to Kurys, but they look spendy to me:

I like them but not that much  :dgust:, looks like someone would come up with something a little different for this, so far Kury is in the lead as for now.

+1 - Wife loves these pegs for a trip of any length at all.  Makes it a lot more comfortable for her.

Another  :agree: My wife loves hers. She's only 5'1" so we also put the HD comfort bars on it, so her calfs weren't resting against the rear crash bars. Big difference.

As long as the wife takes her feet off the kuryakyn pegs when we stop, they don't get in my way.

I just looked at those HD floorboards in reply #3. You need a hex wrench to set them or change them. The kuryakyn passenger pegs allow her to shift her feet to the pegs and back to the boards on a long trip. Big advantage in my opinion.

I learned long ago to tailor the bike so the wife is comfortable. If mommy ain't happy, ain't nobody happy.

I have the Kury adj pegs and the wife loves them on long rides. I just keep them unlocked so she can rotate them to the full forward position while we're riding and if we stop and I have to back up I can just push them back, ( when locked in position, they are extremely hard to unlock because the right one is very close to the exhaust). They cost around $200 but you can buy them at Dennis Kirk for $168
the part # H50262 fits touring models, you can check fitment on their site.

My 2010 RG came with passenger pegs and g/f hated them.  I bought a new take off floorboard for $20 off Ebay.

FYI: the Kury's require some sort of additional  "spacer??" if you are running Rhinehart tru duals. Just FYI if you look in that direction.

I'll have to check on that because I have BUB7's tru duals and they look a little like the Rineharts on the left side, thanks for the heads up though.
They have the Kurys on sale at Eastern Performance now for $154 I think.

I had the Kuryakyns briefly, but my wife hated 'em. They were in the way for her. She's 5' -7" tall, and it's all legs.
