Custom Chrome - Can anyone order from them?

I was told by local dealer that they cant order from CC right now - Didnt say whether it was internally decided OR if custom chrome wouldn't sell to them. I'm needing to order a jackshaft part, and have looked at

- Teds
- Drag
- xxxx someone else I cant remember

...and none of the above offer the part I'm hunting.

I'm needing a #628370 that CC has listed.

I can't say for sure, but I just went to the CC website and it lets you find ALL CC dealers in your area by Zip Code.  I also did a search and the jackshaft shows up on page 6.43 of the tranny section ($89.99).
Seems to me they may force you to deal through their dealer network, and you local dealer may not have a big enough order to place at this time, or may not be happy with the current internal sales discount they get from CC.  I would suggest you do the Zip Code look up and see who else in your area is listed as a CC dealer and give them a call.  I know my local Indy has to sell X amount of per year product to protect his discount, and depending on where he is during the last month or so of the year will order a big ticket item (tranny or motor) for a customer at no profit just to be sure he sells his "requirement".  Your dealer may have missed his number and won't place an order unless he can jump back into a "good dealer" status.

maybe a place to start  shows 1 place in Oklahoma selling for 59 bucks new. good luck!

If you can't find a dealer locally, you might want to check out M&M Cycles web site. It is a mom & pop operation that does mail order and I frequently order out of the CCI catalog (As well as some of the other catalogs they have). The are good people to deal with and I've never had an issue with them. They also have several other catalogs on-line on their web site including (But not limited to) Drag Specialties, V-twin and Harley-Davidson Factory Accessories).
