PCIII breaks my starter?

So I went to HD this morning to have my bearings checked, they found the front bad and warranty replaced it.
I mentioned my starter was grinding on occasion and they told me it was my PCIII and the fact I didn't have o2 sensors on the bike. They gave me engine codes of PO134 and PO154 and wouldn't address the starter issue. I may have to get help tweaking PCIII for starting (this only happens now and then, the grinding more often).
My Question, has anybody heard of the PC breaking starters? Sounds like crap to me. They actually suggested I go hook up my o2 sensors with my PC sensors, I think they been smoking something.

Which bearings?

Anyway, if you do hook your O2 sensors back up while running with the PC-III, you'll either have to go to the dealer to get your AFVs reset to get the PC-III mapping correct again or redo the PC-III mapping to correct it.  The "basis" upon which the PC-III works will get changed if you go closed-loop with the bike in any running condition different than it was at the time the "O2 eliminators" got installed.

Can't say about the starter, I wasn't there and I haven't seen/heard what's going on for you.  It's possible the PC-III could be aggravating a startup situation in a way which could be adjusted out, maybe.

front wheel--wheel bearings have been an ongoing issue with this bike. I have gone thru 3 rear (which included wheels) and 3 front-the 3 included the bearings it came with in a little over two years and 50,000 miles.

From searching the forums I found-it seems I need new eliminators to plug into my os2 cables.
whoda thunk? Internet is a great thing.
