I've had my FXRG jacket is over 10 years old and I still love it!! It is showing wear but that is expected.

On the earlier model FXRG Jackets, they had a zipper problem. I had one of these earlier version jackets. Harley recognized this issue and swapped it out for the new version FXRG Jacket--free of charge--no problems whatsoever with the swapout. The new version FXRG Jacket has a beefier zipper. The jacket is fine nowadays.

They are a little pricey, but a very good jacket that keeps me warm and a lot of usable pockets inside the jacket. My liner zips up fine. That was never an issue. Maybe the person who sewed the liner was drunk at work and sewed a few zippers on crooket, or even better yet, the person putting on the jacket was drunk... That's the only times that I had problems with zipping up my jacket  :hyst:

an idiot if you do, an asshole if you don't... WTF

I bought mine on Ebay last year for ~$300.  I'm 6'2", 190 pounds and I wear a Large.  The sleeves could be a bit longer, but otherwise it's perfect.  I'm not sure I'd pay full price for one.

That said, it's become my go-to jacket for everything but really cold weather and rain.

I have fxrg in leather with matching pant`s only wear it in the coldest of riding weather I think its too bulky, I like my shovelhead leather with it`s quilted lining much more had it since 94 and ware it 99% of the time. If Harley motorclothes ever re releases it I will surly buy another.
If it don`t scare you, It ain`t fast enough.

I've been wearing the leather FXRG for about 7-8 years now. Great jacket. I never need the liner though. The ONLY criticism I have is the fact that I end up stuck in heavy rain once in a while. Although it is nearly waterproof, it's not as waterproof as some of the new textile jackets. The textile jackets also have more pockets, which I'm finding very handy in my old age. I'd have a hard time choosing now also. I'm a traditionalist and pretty much have to have leather though.

I might sneak out at night in a textile jacket if I had one though, when nobody's looking....

Thanks for all the great replies. I still haven't bought one yet, very pricey and I've got some oter expenses right now but I am looking. I have decided on the leather version. One thing I am concerned about is the bulky factor. I don't know if I could fold and fit it in my bagger saddlebag like my current leather. I'm 5'11" 190-200 and the large is just too tight.
