Just wondering if the new style 2 into 1 pipes off the 2010 FL touring models will fit my 04 Geezer Glide without to much hammer time. See them go cheap on E-Bay and was looking for cheap way out of spending $300 for a good used set of V&H.

Did you want to leave the cat in the pipe? I think removal requires cutting pipe in half, grinding out the cat, then welding pipe back together.

Gutting it is not a problem, Unless it would effect scavenge performance of the pipe. I was mainly concerned about frame clearance and the distance between exhaust ports being the same.

I don't imagine they changed anything fundamental from the '09 setup which is then essentially the same as the '10 gutted, so it should work okay that way, since you don't have to worry any about rear-mounted O2 sensor crosstalk on your bike.

I would say not without a bit of work.  Tranny mounts are different on the 04's vs the newer ones for one thing.

It's not even a close fit. For the same result, put some '09 mufflers on your 2004. That gives you catless mufflers with stock head pipes. They sound great, too.

As mentioned, the '09 frame and mountings are quite different.
