S&S 4x4

 I was looking at some new parts J&P offers and saw a EVO S&S 4x4 motor. I am thinking that S&S once made a EVO 4x4 that fit into a Shovel frame. Just wondering if this is the same motor.

The shorter Evo motor was 79".

Zeus will strike you down with a lightning bolt if you install an EVO in a shovel frame.  It's against the laws of nature.

  S&S called it a shovelution motor,,as stated a 79" motor,,it was done so you didn't have to modify frame for fit...Never put an evo in a shovel frame,,,having to butcher a good frame is BAD...Evo frames ,,cut them up all day and make softails into rigids...

 I know they first came out with the 79" motor but just before they stopped making that short style motor they came out with several different sizes and the 100" was the largest.

A 100" will fit, but the motor mount will have to be modified/manufactured.
