BATTERY REMOVAL

Heres a tip for removing your battery (tour bike ). Wrap a zip tie around the battery to act as a handle. I installed a new odessy battery and had to try to remove it a couple of times to make sure the seat didn't sit on top of it. This put a lot of strain on the tips of the fingers. Easy as pie........

They also make a handy kind of "handle" - it's a strap about 6 or 8 inches long with a little fitting on each end that goes over the terminals. When you lift up on the strap, the fittings jam against the terminals and you just lift it like a suitcase. I keep one hanging by my bench in the shop. Should be available where finer auto parts are sold.... I've had it for years.

The zip tie idea is a good one though... it will work wherever the bike is!
