On a 2002 Ultra when converting from a dual disc to a single rotor, do they make some kind of hub cover or something to go where the rotor went? Or is it a different wheel that is set up for single sided rotors.  Thanks.

All I have seen do this used a custom wheel , and had the fork leg machined off slick to look right .....xzo

for a mag wheel there is a chrome cover that goes over the hub, laced wheel they are single hub only, just keeps out the dirt from the holes etc,

may I ask why you are going to single disc ?  Lotta bike ya got there

 That's what I wondered.
Why would anybody do that?
They say 70% of yoiur braking power is your front brakes.
Why would you remove 35% of your brakes?

I'm putting dual HD Brembos on my Fatty and your wanting to take a disc off an Ultra.

You can buy a set of chromed axel spacers which will fill the area on rt side from Willy Shiny.I just converterd my 04  to single disc and it stops BETTER.Believe what you want ,I used a Hawg Halters  6 piston calliper with probably as much brake area as my 2 calipers were ,combine that with a better caliper and like I said,STOPS BETTER!

I agree with everyone else.  Why in the world would you want to take a disk OFF a bagger?

EDIT:  Just saw on another forum where it looks like the same post except there he specified he is UPGRADING to a better braking system so I can't fault the "plan" to go to a single.

In any case, if that's what you are going to do, don't forget you have to change the brake master cylinder as well.  They are NOT the same on single and dual disk systems.  A single master on a dual system will not give you enough volume to activate both calipers reliably, and a dual master on a single caliper will give you some frighteningly sensitive brakes.

I cant see staying with stock calipers and single disk on that bike.  But, as fathead pointed out, if you go with a better system, like Hawg Halters, then I can see where a single disk will work out.  Just not with the stock hardware.

You may find the Cover (Hub Cap) used on the Fatboy Solid Cast Disc Wheel will do the trick.
