Wondering if the Smart Siren II can be removed from say, an '05 Softail and installed on an '07 Softail?  The part number is the same for both model years and was curious if the Siren II "marries" itself to one particular bike after it's installed?

Looking at the install instructions, there's no mention of any special sequence after it's installed.  Simply plug it in after mounting and secure the antenna wire.

Would appreciate any feedback!

Thanks!

Yes, you can move it. It is simply the siren and pager transmitter. It just does what the TSSM tells it to do. I have a nice mod that will increase the pager range... a lot.  I just did the mod on my 2010 Road Glide. I have yet to get out of range with the pager.  I posted it on the CVO forum a few years back,
