Installed the V&H ProPipe Chrome 2-1 pipes on my 07 Roadglide 103.  Perfect fit and finish, with pretty good instructions for those of us who need them.  All parts needed to install were included except the 2 muffler hanger bolts.  Even comes with 2 zip ties for fastening the O2 sensor cables.

Sound at idle is deep and rumbling.  Somewhat loud, but no worse than my old Bub 7's.  Off the line response is noticeably better than the Bub tru-duals.  Bike feels more responsive pulling to 2k RPM in comparison to the duals.  There is a little less responsiveness from 2500-3200 RPM, compared to my Bub 7s.  But, pull from 3200 up is very smooth and comparable to tru duals.

Pipes are a little louder up to 2000 RPM than the Bubs.  But, they seem to quiet down above 2500 RPM, again compared to Bub 7s.  Highway cruising at 75 mph and up is quieter as well.

I am pretty happy with these pipes, even with the mellower response in the midrange.  Its not that bad compared to Bubs, just a little noticeable difference.

Highly recommended pipes.

Just put the  Black Pro Pipe HS on my RG, it's got a nice deep rumble and sound
not overly loud and I can hear the radio with normal volume.  Power seems fine
been Vtuning it a few times...

I have 'em on my Dyna FatGlide.  I liked the performance gains and the deeps sound.  But I rode to Indy one year and could not hold a conversation afterwards.  At rest stops, I was stuffing tissue in my ears because I didn't have any ear plugs.  Called home after 13 hours of riding and couldn't hear Judy on the telephone well enough to communicate.

They were fine for me around town, but for trips I much prefer a quieter ride.

ON the old pro pipe I'd agree Ken but the new HS isn't anywhere near as loud as the old ones..

If you look at the new muffler you can see it has been completely redesigned and I'll tell you its one heavy sucker...

I have had mine on since about the 3rd week after they where released.  It took a lot of re-tuning with TTS to get dialed in, I like the sound, even quieter after tuning, but plenty of db's when twisting the wrist.

Dennis,
I have an older pro pipe so the new pipe may be different. My pipe had a deep rumble at first but the first time I really opened up the bike it got very loud on the highway after that. I found myself at the end of the day or at night coming home keeping the rpm's low to keep the sound low. I did put two exhaust clamps around the last two rows of holes in the baffle and the low end dip felt better with the butt dyno. I have now put  supertrapp disks on the end cap and removed the baffle. I have not had the bike tuned yet but I think it will tune well. The sound is a deep rumble but not too loud at all and when you twist the throttle the sound is really good to me. (8 disks installed) Got any pictures?

I to have one bike with a Pro Pipe. The fit and finish are up to V&H standards but the pipe is pale in comparison to a SuperTrapp I have had on my other bikes in the way it works and tunability. I finally just broke down and took the time to make a SuperTrapp core and disc work for the baffle/core. About a 110% improvement.
