There was an HD bulletin to dealers dated 7/22 that said no more orders for sidecars will be processed and that this is due to lagging sales and increased interest in trikes.   We're expecting the White House to issue a statement since they see more sidecars in the winter than anyone.

There's a gazillion bikes in this area, and I can't recall ever seeing a sidecar except once at the dealer. I've never ridden a trike, but after riding a two-wheeler, I would think turns would be kinda scary, steering instead of leaning, and feeling the centrifugal force instead of the G force. On the highway, though, it would probably be fine.
Going down that long, lonesome highway. Gonna live life my way.

If any of you HTT mooks are going through Denver on your way to the Black Hills you are welcome to stop by our shop and take a break. It would be your chance to see a large working fleet of Police bikes and sidecars that are privately owned.  We are near the intersection of I-25 and I-70 on the North end of the city. No beds, no food but lots of cold water and old Harleys.   Just email for directions.

Do you have any sidecars for sale?

I'm sure they have enough parts and bits to meet demand for the next few years.

Washington, DC park police use them for Presidential escort in the wintertime. There's one around the corner from my house. I'll see him pulling out of the neighborhood when it's snowy and icy outside.
Shiny side up, rubber side down.
