One of my local Advanced Auto parts can get redline products, they don't stock it in the store but have it in their wharehouse, heavy shockproof is $13.28 a qt , took overnight to get it in.

After all you spent on your bike, you'd complain about the price of a quart of oil? 

I've probably got $25K in my bike and I use the cheapest oil (that meets specs) that I can find.  I keep my fingers crossed that it won't blow up...  Oh, yeah, it's got over 92,000 miles on it.

i go to my local fleet farm store and get farm tractor gear oil. about $3-$4 a quart. show me a machine that gets more tranny abuse than a farm tractor. these harley trannys don't get anywhere near the abuse a tractor gets.

I'll buy 20-50 Valvoline at Advance Auto or Autozone...whenever it's on sale. I've been using Valvoline products since the 60's. I mentioned this in the past but I'll say it again...I once bought a case (Used to be 24qts. in a case) of Valvoline 20-50. When I brought it home from the local auto supply I found a quart of Harley Davidson 20-50 mixed with the Valvoline. I figured that HD was using Valvoline as a supplier.

Can you get Redline 20w60 synthetic oil @ Advanced Auto. What would it cost?

     Umm... It's Advance Auto. No past tense. I'm in southern Maine and called my local AA store. Don't stock it but they can get it. Go on the Red Line web site, find the p/n of the product(s) that you want price quotes on and give your local AA a call. I found cheaper than web list price at Portland Speed (auto performance products store) and though the owner had to order it it was only a day or two. The 20W-60 was 11.95 per quart. Bill
