Axtell is building my 117" and they recommend Cycle Shack M pipes w/tapper mufflers and no baffles and I am thinking about it just to be different and it is going on a FLHXI.

Cycle Shack are excellent pipes, but, with the baffles removed, a Thunderheader is quiet in comparison. In addition, some just don't think they look right on a bagger. If your chasing numbers, then by all means go for the CS. IMO, for looks, performance, and reasonable noise levels, a Supertrapp 2X1 is a winner.

Those bad ass cams you got have a lot to do with that "useable power"

7Hogs, I posted my dyno sheet in the Dyno section. I'm using stock Dyna headers that have the crossover & Cycle Shack M series slip-ons, slash cut. I also drilled out the holes in the baffles from Ø.250 to Ø.3125 & added a row of holes. On the dyno sheet I've got a run with my motor as a 95", it is interesting to note that the shape of the Tq curves are nearly identical. The shape of the Tq curve is due to the exhaust set-up.

what size valves are going to be in the heads
what size cam
at what ccp
what compression
Danny is correct on the borzilla. His bike did make more power all over the rpm range compared to the cs but that is his bike.

i ran a d&d fatcat with performance baffle on my 117.....i am now running ab oarzilla on my 131. The fatcat was a good match for the 117

Ron Dickey built me a 117 almost 3 1/2 years ago, I ran a road rage, rineharts, thunderheader.
road rage has great low and mid, rineharts liked the upper range, I liked the thunderheader best for overall performance.
I have run the fatcat and the rinehart 2-1 on other motors, but not the 117

just my personal experience
