They're a cheap tire.  I ran one on the rear of my shovel.  Performed ok, but didn't last very long.  6,000 miles as I recall.. (but I replace em early)
Got a case of dynamite, I could hold out here all night

ran them on my bagger, was good for the price

im runnin now a Comander Michelin, 150.80.16, i did a small tri to test,
i fell you are glued on the ground doing curves, no problem, last almost 10000 miles,
will try the MAXXIS, good price...

I ran a brand new Maxxis Classic off the back of my bagger in under 5k miles.  Dunlop Elite 3's, OTOH last me 12-14k.  Handles better with the E3's, too.

I prefer the white wall tires but saw Jake Wilson currently has the MT90B-16 (74H) Michelin Commander Rear Motorcycle Tire for $64.99 (clearance) . I think the front is $86.99  .
It looks like a pretty good saving to me...

I only ran the Maxxis tires because they came with the bike when I bought it.
I've always run Dunlop 491 Elite II's, feeling that they get better mileage than the OEM 402's with similar performance.  Several years ago Dunlop replaced the 491's with the E3.  Between the 3 bikes I've run probably 6 or 7 sets of the E3's.  They get mileage similar or better than the 491's with quite a bit better handling.  As a matter of fact, I haven't heard of anyone who's run a set of E3's that didn't like them.
Heck, my bro-in-law even runs 'em on his Gold Wing.

I ran a set of MAXXIS whitewalls on my 1996 FLSTN-- once.. Run, don't walk away...

They lasted a little more than half of the mileage I normally get out of Dumflops....
