The "Biker" wave......

The "Biker wave".... what exactly is it?  Or should I ask:  What is the proper way to do it?  I just read the thread about an old Christmas card type picture of Santa on a stock Knucklehead.  Who was giving the "Biker wave"
to a bike going the opposite way.  Santa gave the low down way that seems to me is the most popular way of doing it.
So, naturally I like to do it differently by giving a 'high' sign or above the handle bar wave.  I try and do it with every scooter that gives me one no matter what flavor of make.  Sometimes I'll even innate the "wave"......  What do you do?

it just depends if i am in a curve,shifting or otherwise engaged no wave
it could be just a nod of the head,a low wave or none at all
its like when im in my jeep everyone waves who cares i dont know these
people just because i have one dont make us family
to sum it up if i feel like it i do it if not dont be offended sometimes i am just
in my world.and its a solo riding thing.

why wave you need new freind ?? i work on these fine pieces at home i dont wave cause there no more standing or bench racing room in the garage im moving out and never waving at any body im told its a sign of weakness

Why even bother waving if the other guy can't see it?  Many times I can see the other guy trying to give the cool down low wave, but because his arm blends in with the tank or his clothes, seeing him wave can be tough even tho I know he tried.  For that reason, my waves are always above body level.  Ma makes it a point of waving, too.
