Hello all.  My HD high flow air filter has come apart and I need a new one.  Local HD dealer does not have one in stock and I would like to replace with K & N instead of washable paper element anyhow.  Is the part number for the high flow air filter HD0800?  Is HD1499 just the regular stock replacement style?  Thanks, Calvin.

From another forum:
"The K&N filter p/n: HD-0800 is a direct replacement for the S/E air filter."

The HD1499 is a K&N washable replacement, stock style, air cleaner filter. It's waht I use in my FlSTNI.

Thanks to you both.  Later, Calvin.

Get the K&N HD0800.  It is the original SE filter that is oiled, not the paper washable one that comes in the new SE kits.

Bought mine at Advance Auto, not in stock but they had it within 48 hours and was something like $35.

Any one have a part# and a source for a K&N to replace the stock filter in an 08 bagger?

Thanks, Dan
