That's a lot of bridges! All wooden decks too, that's rare.
Listen to the jingle the rumble and the roar.

Good video.  Done the ride many times.  This valley is part of dinosaur central!  Anyone travelling in the southern Alberta area should consider making the run to Drumheller and check out the world class Tyrell Museum of Palentology and also have a cold one at the Last Chance Saloon of course!

What do you have, the new Boom! Audio speakers?  That stereo really cuts clean through the road noise!

"What do you have, the new Boom! Audio speakers?  That stereo really cuts clean through the road noise!"  :)

I use Windows Movie Maker on my lap top and add the Audio soundtrack, and mute the camera recording.

I apologize for not trying to indicate at least in some way that I was being a smart-ass.  :)

Seeing you coming while holding a camera (or something) like that must certainly raise more than a few eyebrows, that's for sure!

So are you coming up on the end of your riding season up there yet?

calgary56

glens - Whew, I wasn't sure if you were serious or not (text is a difficult medium to interpret without knowing a person's character traits).

End of riding season, hmmm, we had a crappy summer, but it's trying to make a comeback at the moment, ... has been a gorgeous week, and looks like the week-end will be good as well, .... but yes, days are numbered (although, as long as the roads are DRY, I ride all year 'round)

Thank You Calgary! Question: Are the bridges over streams or were they to span ravines? IMHO Some of the most beauty can be found in what the bridge spans.

Wood does not rust, and the planks are easily replaceable.

Brrrap - if'n ya click on the link in Reply #2, you can zoom in and see that the bridges span a small, winding river called the Rosebud River.

Calgary Thanks again! It seems odd to me that,,, as i think I'm seeing it,,,,, Its like a valley at the top of a Mountainous ridge that that river is contained in? Unique it would seem.

Brrrrrrap:  The creek runs in the bottom of what was once a huge ancient river bed.  When you ride towards this location you drop from rolling prairie down a few 100 feet to the current valley floor.  Very cool area and home to massive dinosaur finds and thus  the museum etc.
