speedometer replacement

I am trying to replace a speedometer on a 1996 FXDWG. the old one is wired on and the new one plugs in, but the wiring diagram makes no sense to me can anyone help.

May I ask what happened to your old speedo? I've got the same bike and mine shows about 20mph slow always. I swapped out sensor but that aint it.
