I took my wiring diagram to a local print shop & had them enlarge it. Makes everthing easier to see. Staples wouldn't do it because of copyright laws. BS. I paid for the manual. It would be nice to be able to read it. PS be certain you use the original as copies that are blown up don't read well.
Some days my bike runs like there's nothing wrong in the world, other days :(

Smokedyvr ended up stepping into the shop not too long ago and had his newly purchased wiring diagram and its laminated. Exploded view thats clearly easier to manage.I can get the info on it. (Belive he paid 12-15 dollars for it)  ---Bob---

99948-90 is the Manual, Wiring Diagrams - 1986-1990 All Models

Wall Charts didn't start until 1992, but there are real easy to read,  I have the 99949-03 Wiring Diagram Wall Chart. Well worth the $$$$$

You can alway bring your SM down to the library or office supply store and use their copy machine to blow up (enlarge) the factory schematic. Probably four pages at what, twenty cents a copy? Overlap and use scotch tape to hold them together. Worked for me and I wear progressive trifocals. Bill

Library copier enlarged and using legal length at $0.10 per copy, got folded and put in my Harley service manual long time ago.

And...FSG deserves an HTT Hall of Fame Award for all of His efforts of starting, maintaining, and updating ALL of the Info in the HD Instruction Sheets, Bulletins, and Recall Section on here.
The Wiring Diagrams alone have saved Me on quite a few occasions.
Thanks Very Much, FSG!  I appreciate it.
