Just want to give a thumbs up to Gene and Alan at Feuling.
Gene and I had a verbal conversation / agreement about something 5 years ago, and not only did he remember it in detail, but he stood by his word with no questions asked when the time came....which was this week.
I could have easily gotten screwed on the deal, but he didn't even consider that an option.

Those are the stories that stick in my head. It would very likely cause me to buy a Feuling product over one of their competitors.

OT but is it true that Fueling was involved in the development of theTC88?

EL-Al,
I see on the Feuling web page they have the 3-cyl. bike up for sale. I don't know if they had just one prototype bike or several. Just a guess as to why it never took off would be a combo of looks and price might have been high.

I never mind paying top dollar for something if the company care about what they are selling.

Didn't Feuling die and that put the brakes on things?

Jim Feuling did die in 2002, but the plan was to still continue with the project. Not sure where it stands now.
I recall there being at least 4 patents on the motor early on. There was also a 180 HP version built. Not sure if it made the street.

Fueling use to be in El Cajon CA.  Gramps and I went to their shop and got a Fueling Oil Pump for each of our bikes.  They were very nice to us and invited us to take the tour of the plant.  We heard from one of the employees that at Jim's death his partners and the family were having problems with what belongs to partners and what belongs to family.  At the end of the tour he handed Gramps and myself a free set of Fueling Lifters since each of us purchased an oil pump that day.  Kind of nice.  Had problems with lifters and called Fueling at their New Location.  They asked me to send lifters to them to be examined.  They had 45,000 miles on them by then.  I got a letter and package from Fueling.  Letter explained that the groves in the lifters should not of happened and neither should the pitting at 45,000 miles.  I got another set of Fueling Lifters from them.  Did not even ask for them, they just sent them.

They prolly gave ya stuff just to get Gramps' crabby old ass outta their building.  :hyst:

(Lest anyone misunderstand, I love Gramps- and he'd most likely consider that a compliment)

Had the same "great customer service" experience as well. Putting +.001 race lifters, pushrods, camplate, and oil pump in my 103 build. Dave Mackie recommended the lifters and after the call to Fueling I went with the rest. What do you spose the flywheel looks like in that 3 cylinder?? I'd like to see one.
