hey i changed my brake line to a steel one and i have been tryin to bleed thm for 3 days and i cant get them to pressure up, they worked great before, what do u guys think it is or what can i do.

I use one of the pump style oil cans that you can get at an auto parts place and a piece of clear tubing attached to the nozzle on the can. I fill the can full of brake fluid and attach the tube over the loosened bleeder screw and pump it in from the bleeder. Make sure you have alittle fluid in the m/c reservoir before you start.  Start pumping it in and watch the level in the M/C rise.  Doesn't take long at all. I also have the braided lines on my Fatboy.

Tie the brake lever down to the handle bar grip with a bungee cord or similar. Maintain this lever position for at least 24 hours. Remove the bungee and pump the lever several times and it will be rock solid, like magic.

It always takes a very long time doing it the conventional way of pumpinp the hand leaver. What I've done is hook a clear hose over the bleeder and hook it to a siphon sprayer on my air compressor. Or heres a link to Harbor Freight if you have one http://www.harborfreight.com/automotive-motorcycle/brakes/brake-bleeder-and-vacuum-pump-kit-92474.html

Yes to answer your question. I could not for the life of me get pressure in the front brakes until I did it the way I mentioned. I tried the old conventional way, then with a mity vac, then by tying the lever down. None of those methods worked for me. Took all of about 5 minutes with the little oil can method

I just changed the rear brake line and am having the same problem.  I was about to take the master cylinder apart.  Maybe this method will work on the rear brake as well as on the front brake.  I am gonna try it before I disassemble the master cylinder.

The same idea but instead of an oil can I use a large syringe from a farm supply store.

I agree the syringe method works really good too. I did it along time ago on a dual disc FXRT and it worked really well. Unfortunately the local farm supply store didn't have the right size I was looking for so I opted for the oil can.
