Shock Fitment question

Hello All,      I was wondering if anyone can confirm if a set of shocks from an 09 touring bike will fit on my 97 eglide? I'm pretty sure that they will, but was looking for some confirmation before I purchase them. Has anyone done this?

They will fit.  wvultra put a set of 09 shocks on his 07 and they fit fine.  Up to 08 uses -97 shock pn#

road-dawg1 is correct.  Original shocks used the -97 p/n. 

Once you get the '09 shocks on, run the recommended air pressures from the '09 manual.
