I'd love to see the rooster tail that thing throws in the rain... :pop:
Looks like the rat trike only has two lug nuts. What's with that?  :potstir:

Looks to me like the "rat" is not what you think.... No throttle, clutch, switches or front brake lever, back tires look to be brand new (still have the blue and stickers on 'em). My guess is it just got to be a roller and got shoved outside for a photo. As a finished bike with paint & chrome and some decent rims, it may actually be half decent to look at.

even if you hate honda, you have to love the SOHC 736cc motors.

I'd bet a beer that it's the same bike - before and after.

Nice, but I don't think I'd care for a hardtail trike on these fine Illinois roads...
Forget the bull"Potty mouth" - it's all about two wheels and a motor!

Just looked at the website. Different trikes.

Yup,  Two different frames.
The "rat" is a work in progress (but I gotta admit, I'm a sucker for rats(

But the black one?  Man, that close to the road would feel like Flyin'

Is that one of their frames? If not, what rear end are you using?

:agree:

The Honda 4 bangers were great engines with lots of power and ultra reliable. The only downside is trying to synch the 4 carbs. Still, they are "Loveable" and good looking too!

Glen,

Those are some interesting cars surrounding the trike. Is that an Studebaker Avante in the background? How about the car next to the trike? It looks like C-3 Corvette??

Most of the frame is a 70's (early 80's?) Corbin Gentry chopper frame for the SOHC CB750. I did the back half using a different similar trike as the model.

It's a lot easier to invent something that's right in front of you  I used a Servi-car rear axle assy. The gearing on them isn't high enough to keep from lugging and there's no room for a larger rear sprocket, so I flipped it over to put the sprocket on the right side and used a jackshaft to reduce the gearing.

1 for 2  :teeth: '64 Avanti R1 and a lowly Pontiac Solstice.
What the heck, let's really get me thrown outta here for talk'n Hondas, my favorite:

'72 engine, ? year AMEN Savior "soft tail" frame. (now it's Harley-related, I said soft tail :smiled: ) Who needs a front brake or speedometer anyway? (it's got two horns)
