Does anyone know of an upgraded compensator assembly to fit a '95 EVO??

From what I've experienced, the stock unit is fairly robust; what problems are you having?
Remember, you can sleep in your car, but you can't drive your house.

I get a fair amount of "kick back" while starting (sometimes). It's a 113" and fairly high compression. I don't want to do anything to the engine
timing or compression. Yes, I do have CR's.
My thoughts are to just do a new replacement unit and see if there's a difference. The stock components have about 150K miles on them.

Better off to look fpr BDL or other after market compensator. A stock one will never handle the ponies of a motor that size, not designed for it.
