Innovative RAM mount in a pinch

Since I'm headed out to Daytona with truck/trailer/bikes I wanted to put the Zumo from my scoot in the truck to get to the hotel addresses that I'm headed to. I waited too long to order the RAM mount for the truck as it wouldn't be here in time. I went out to look for an idea as to how to make my own mount. What I came up with was a Delta ball assembly for a single handle faucet. Works great. It is a 1" ball exactly like the RAM mount for the Zumo and it is metal and solid. I have a glove box above the rearview mirror so I drilled a hole in the bottom and used a 8-32 wing nut stud to thread into the ball assembly. Viola! RAM mount hanging down from my glove box. I already have a 2 pole flat connector wired in line on my bike cradle so I'm making a cigarette lighter plug with a 2 pole flat connector and in line fuse to plug it into the truck.
