superior slip on mufflers

Does anyone have any experience with old superior mufflers. Looking for some replacements for 80 flt not a lot of$$$$ but want something along the lines of the older screamin eagles mufflers for sound. Thanks

I bought some old superior exhaust stuff for my pan project last year because I had always hear superior stuff was good. It was total crap, didn't fit well chrome was not good, the stuff was rusted on the inside etc ,etc.  I made my own mounts for my FLT and I can run any Dresser exhaust 95 and up. I am running Wild Pig Mufflers I got off of ebay, they sound good and look good.  I used a piece of pipe ,and some flat stock! Used an original FLT muffler hanger for spacing and measurements... Been on there for years no and no problems..Good Luck...Mule...

I had read the same stuff about Superior. For my 76 FLH I ended up buying some NIB Rush touring mufflers for evos then rigged up some hangers. Well built, nice chrome, good sound without being obnoxious.
