hello, has any one had any experience with these carbs, looks nice,  Lectron Fuel Systems thanks.

Yeah back in 1980 I had one on a Can-Am Mx-6 125 that I was racing. Easy to tune but on a 125 mx'er it's on the main or you're not running very hard.

HD/Wrench

For a race engine they work but for the normal street systems from what I have tuned they can be a handful to get the engine to run correctly from idel to redline. Engine size is going to play a huge roll in that as well.  Really overall a universal type set up that you have to make work vs a direct bolt on. Reminds me of the PSI Big Air carb. SOme guys had great luck with it and others myself included found it to be very picky on jetting.  Why not look into the Mik 42 or 45, tried and true and a bolt on for the hd.  Not the story with the Lectron.

I use them on the race bikes.Too much trouble to dial in for the street.
Wouldn't try to reinvent the wheel.  :banghead:

Reminds me of the Lake Injector carbs, but so does the PSI.  Remember those John?  I will clarify I remember reading ads for them in my dad's 70's Easyriders.

The "Trons" were originally built by Red Edmonston. Paul Gast has been doing them since the early 80's.
Red built a lot of carbs, similar in design over the years.  :nix:
Still haven't talked to Ken F.

Back in the 70's they were made in Troy, Mi., or a process concerning them anyway.
Snowmobile carbs. We knew a guy that worked at that factory, he "boosted" a couple. 2 guys put 'em on their shovelheads, ran OK when it was cold, soon as the ambient temps went up, ran like sh%#t.
