Right now Autozone has 5qts of Mobil 1 15W50 and a Mobil 1 filter on sale for $31.99. I remember reading a warning from like 6 years ago on a XL forum about not using the Mobil 1 filter because it was too restrictive. I was wondering if this is truly the case? I didn't know if this only applies to Sportsters or what.I have a TC 88. I guess that if it is too restrictive I'll just get the filter for my car and just continue using the Bosch filter. What are your experiences? BTW it supposedly uses the same filter media as the Harley filter.

:missed: I take it that after almost 300 views that no one has had any experience with this filter.
Oh well I guess that I will just stick to the Bosch 3330 filter.
By the way, in case anyone is interested O'Reilly's has Mobile 1 15W50 on sale now for $4.99 a quart.

I don't think their would be any issues using it. Heck, H-D filters are made by Champion (in the U.S.A.), who also makes the corresponding sized Walmart Supertech filter. Never issues with a Walmart filter and they meet H-D OEM specs.

I use the M1 102 on the road glide and wifes road king and never had a problem.  Thanks for the heads up on sales at auto zone and oreillys both bikes need changes now.
