Starter motor doesn't disengage.

 A new Accel solenoid. It seems to be working now. We'll just see what happens.

  I've seen my starter solenoid get stuck with the contacts closed a couple of times. Weak battery has caused it to happen, & I've had it happen after sittin all winter, a little bit of condensation in there can wreak havoc on your electrical componants..  I've seen where those contacts have actually welded themselves together.  Just somethin else to keep in mind while we are doin our spring tune-ups.

a friend had the problem was spinning it over to check something without the plugs in it, put them in it was fine, if the plugs are in could be the jackshaft.
