DTC code P1004

On cold starts my 04 Ultra has started showing the check engine light for about 10 seconds.  Seems to run just fine though.

Setting code P1004.  P1004 System Relay Contacts Closed EFI.  Any one able to tell me what the heck it means?
Advice on how to fix it?

did your fuel pump continue to run with the key turned off

Nope, but I found on another board that a guy had the same problem after pressure washing his bike.  Water had got into his PC connections.  Since I just went thru 2 days and 1200 miles of rain, I'm betting it's the same deal.  Gonna clean up and seal the connectors and wiring harness (somehow).  After riding for a day in dry weather it has stopped setting the code so I'm pretty sure that's the problem.
