I have a chance to buy an FXR with  Merch 131 in it.  It is suppose to be stock. Anyone know what stock is for this motor i.e. Cam? CR?  It has a baker 6 with Barnett lock up hooking it up. Anyone have one? Had one?  Love em / hate em? Any insight would be helpful.

Thanks

Buddy has a 120" Merch. It's 10yrs. old and still runs like a bat out of hell. I think he broke a valve spring yrs ago but other than that no major problems.

we did alot of merch stuff back when kenny francis was there before he did the ultima program for midwest, quality was a little scary before he got everything straightened out(once he did, they fired him, then it got scary again, and they went under, for a while a shop who did alot of merch stuff bought them out, weather their still doing anything,i have no idea)

Mid-west has some engine parts listed in the 2010 parts book , but it is very little.

Jerry Merchant moved his operation to Colorado several years ago.Don't know if he made a go of it.
I can check with Ken F. If he is still in business,I'll post the info.
