"Producing 102 ft. lbs. of peak torque at 3500 rpm, the Twin Cam 103 provides outstanding performance around town and on the open road"

102ft/lbs my ass........maybe measured at the crank. My new 2011 RGU with the 103 is a pooch compare to my 95" '01 Ultra.
If the RG is 102 ft/lbs, my old one was 150.

All manufacturers post their tq/hp numbers measured from the crank... not just HD. Common knowledge..

Mike.....so, you trading the Fatboy Low in on one?  lol

Well, even if the HP/TQ numbers are based on crank measurement, it would make for some good conversations in the AFR/Tuning section.  Just need a SAE adjusted dyno chart.  lol

The torque may be a BS number. But the temperture is a real deal and there will be a lot of hot bikes on the road. My 11 RK Classic runs hot hot, the oil hit 254* within a 20 minute ride today, but it was 103* here. Still, it's a hot ride.

Yep, but you can't tell it because HD still refuses to put an oil temp gauge on the bikes in place of the stupid ass air temp gauge. WTF is with the air temp gauge?? If I'm sweating it's hot, if it's too cold I stay home.

Sure wish I could get a RGU here in Oz starting at $22.5K, I'd buy one tomorrow.

FYI I installed a BuB 2 in to 1 and a SE Heavy breather on a 2011 RG FLTRX ....103.......everything else stock... did a Smart tune with the SESPT ...this thing runs sweet... shows 200 KMPH and not long getting there ... not sure what #s its making but does it really matter ?

I think when it's 103 temp outside anything you ride is going to be hot!   Come to upstate NY, temps all summer between 75-85 daytime, 55-60 at night, hills, valleys and curves everywhere, bike heaven....

I rode a 1500 mile trip first week of June, temps were 65* morning and upper 70's days. I was at 255 to 265* - I suggest it's safe to say mine avgs. 260. The 103 is a bunch hotter running than the (several) 88's I have owned. That said, I love my new RKC!!
