I bought a used 1997 Road king and found a small hole in the drive belt.  The hole is near the center of the belt and is small about 3/16" .  How long can I run with the belt this way.  Bike only has about 15000 miles on it, just about stock carbed bike with high flow air cleaner and exhaust.
thanks for your advise

should go for another 25,000 miles  easy

I would guess a long ways..
I replaced my 1995 road king belt with 94,000 miles on it.
the wear in one corner was only .05 inches !
I know wear and holes arent apples to apples, but info anyway..

my 97 had a hole in the same spot went 10k that year then changed it that winter, now I think I just keep a eye on it and wait as long as its not near the edge should be fine.

i put a hole in the middle of my belt when i was 1500 miles from home. i rode it home like that, i replaced it 11 years later because the teeth were starting to peel off, not because of the hole.

OK thanks everyone who replied.  I'll just keep an eye on it and if it doesn't get worst I won't do anything.

Stone hole in the center like my 1997 let it go if it was on the edges might be more concerned. Those belts are over kill.

If you want to know exactly how many more miles you can run that belt, get some tea leaves, tarot cards, chrystal ball, and a magic eight ball.
The answers you get from those will be as accurate as anyone elses answer.

When I was at the dealer I had a bagger come in with a belt just like the one you describe. It had over 80 K on it. I would do as you said as you will probably replace it due to normal wear before that hole gives you any trouble
