Stay away, far away. I bought one when they came out, took off a perfect running Mikuni in search of more power. I was dealing directly with Holley the manufacturer, trying to make it driveable and after a month of trying their tips everyday the dealer offered a refund. They had me doing some r&d on the thing, drilling passages and swapping pieces and jets everyday. Put the Mikuni back on and never looked back. Mike

They make a helluva paperweight.
Got a case of dynamite, I could hold out here all night

Somewhere along the way, they did get sorted out. There was some special gasket which seals off some of the passages, if I remember correctly.

If you get it for free, then it's not a bad deal. I wouldn't pay money for one.
Shiny side up, rubber side down.

we were approched by HOLLY at bowling green,ky at a AMRA race before SE bought the rights to them,we ran 2 S&S D carbs and the guy from holly wanted me to run these things, went for a full VIP tour of the plant on monday after the race, would have been a fairly decent sponsor,i walked away, you should too

yup , I passed thought it was a good price, but wanted to learn a little about them first. I learned every thing I needed to, always try to do a little homework before making a purchase on something I don't know much or anything about. Between the posts here and another forum member (Tattoo) who did my motor work. I wont be makin that purchase.
it was the complete kit and jet kit.  The guy was asking $200 drop to $175 as soon as I was looking at it and had a feelin I could have gotten it for less too. the moneys better  off sittin in my wallet.
thanks for the info.
